Embark on your future sailing, knowing we’re enhancing our health and safety standards through our Explore Well at Sea program. With the help of our team of experts, you can expect advanced screening protocols, enhanced sanitation measures, and innovative medical services — to name a few. Whether you’re offshore exploring or onboard enjoying our boutique hotel at sea, our commitment to community consciousness and personal wellness will deliver the peace of mind and safety you need when it comes to traveling within our new world. Given the environment, we are continually evaluating these protocols and updating them as public health standards evolve. You can rest assured, you’ll have our most updated program well before your sail date.



You can board with confidence, knowing we’ve enhanced our health and safety standards through our Explore Well at Sea program. All guests will be required to be fully vaccinated two weeks prior to sailing, in addition to providing a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result. Once aboard, complimentary COVID-19 testing and medical evaluations will be available as part of our commitment to Explore Well at Sea.

Your health and safety are our priority. That’s why you’ll find an enhanced medical facility on board each Azamara vessel, with more equipment and additional doctors and nurses with critical care training. Should there be a COVID-19 case onboard, we have new isolation staterooms to provide comfortable complimentary care and new agreements in place with local government, hospitals, and transportation partners to ensure a safe and prompt return home.

With new HVAC filtration systems, the air you breathe indoors aboard each of our boutique-style ships is comparable to the fresh sea air you breathe while relaxing on deck. This advanced filtration system takes in the fresh sea air and moves it through a 2-stage filter, plus copper coils, to eliminate 99.99% of germs. We have also committed to changing the filters at twice the frequency recommended by the manufacturer for added quality protection.

Building upon our already high standards, Azamara is following advanced cleaning protocols and guidelines recommended by the Healthy Sail Panel of global experts and approved by the CDC. These new measures help ensure the health and wellness of our guests and also provide peace of mind in knowing that every nook of our boutique ships, from bow to stern, is regularly cleaned and sanitized to provide a clean, safe journey. New standards include enhanced team member training, the use of EPA-certified disinfectants, and techniques like electrostatic spraying. Best of all, everything you love about Azamara can still be found and enjoyed on board, too, including our world-class service, the warm and friendly service of our crew, and distinctive dining.

Once upon a time, and not so very long ago, an ocean liner was the only way to see the world. Well, here at Azamara®, we believe it still is.

In the span of one vacation, you can journey to multiple destinations with no packing or unpacking...or leaving items behind in the process. You don’t have to worry about missing a connecting flight or extra transportation costs, let alone finding a parking spot. (And on Azamara’s smaller-sized ships, we can drop you off at the doorsteps of great cities like Nice, Seville, and Hong Kong.)

With the added convenience of “a floating hotel” that follows you all over the world, your accommodation costs are already covered. So you can spend more time enjoying your vacation, and a lot less time—and money—on figuring out where you’re going to stay. When you go cruising, not only do you have a variety of restaurants to choose from, but your meals are also included along the way (and on Azamara ships, your drinks are, too). 

And while planes, trains, and automobiles offer less than spacious seating and practically nothing to entertain you, on a cruise you’ll be able to unwind in between ports with a wide choice of complimentary activities, nightly shows, and enrichment programs, or enjoy a little “me time” with spa treatments and personal training sessions. Finally, at the end of the day, you can fall asleep in a wonderfully comfortable stateroom with all the amenities of a boutique hotel, complete with 24-hour room service, and then wake up in a new town or country...or even continent.
